Tara, Debbie and Shanda's 3-day Walk with the 911 Angels!
Dear Family and Friends,
I would like to share with you a journey that began deep within my heart. A commitment that I knew I had to make. A challenge, no doubt but a very empowering experience that will make a profound difference in the lives of many.
This remarkable event is called the Avon Breast Cancer 3-day. It is 72 hours of an all out commitment to the cause - A living moving monument to the power of human kindness.
On July 12-14, 2002, I will walk 60 miles from San Jose to San Francisco with my team of friends "911 Angels" and 4,000 other dedicated people.
We will walk to honor our loved ones who lost their lives to this devastating disease. We will walk to celebrate the survivors and to support those courageous women who are currently undergoing medical and herbal treatment at this very moment. Our mission is to help raise money that will ultimately help find the cure that will eradicate breast cancer for good.
Net Proceeds will benefit the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade, to fund better access to care for medically undeserved women and to find a cure for Breast Cancer!
I am about to embark on one of the most challenging and fullfilling events of my life and I hope that you will find it in your heart to support me. I have made a personal commitment to raise $1,900 to support the cause. By the closing of the fundraisers our team will have raised over $10,000!!!
